Hi Guys,

I saw in the newspapers a couple of days ago that Mr. Jal Pardiwalla, our
old drill master passed away at the age of 90 plus.  Many of you will
remember him.  He was our drill master through the '40's and the '50's and
some part of the '60's also.  He was an All India sports figure and even
served as a starter at several Olympic games.  Apparently he died attending
the Inter School sports on Sunday last.  I recall  his favorite phrase
which was (whilst hitting you on your skull with his knuckles)  "Inside
coconut, no mava."  A stalwart of the old times.  May his soul rest in peace.
